As a result of a price-cutting war at Hollywood's largest gas station, gasoline sells for 2 cents a gallon. The gas price is even lower than the 3 cent per gallon tax. Thousounds of autos and thier owners fought for the chance to fill their tanks with teh low-priced gas with police brought in to maintain order.
